Open at the Community Venue now for food parcel distribution
The Streets Food Project recently moved to its new home at the Community Venue in the O2 Centre, and has been providing a fantastic service for the community ever since. Collecting and packaging up food for distribution every Wednesday afternoon, the project currently provides around 75-100 parcels per week.
Parcels include fresh fruit and veg, bakery, pasta and tinned goods and make a huge difference to the lives of elderly, vulnerable and disabled people, along with key workers, refugees and families in need. Referrals from local people are welcome by email, phone or drop in and the service is available for anyone passing by that would like to drop in to collect a parcel or make a new referral. Monetary donations are also welcome.
