O2 Centre’s foodie favourites for autumn

Satisfying, hearty and (sometimes) healthy, autumnal dishes are the ultimate comfort foods. This month, expect seasonal produce, warming ingredients and market-driven menus. Tuck in!

Wagamama

Root vegetables reign supreme on the Wagamama autumn menu. As the chill sets in, order a warming Yasai Katsu Curry: with sweet potato, aubergine and butternut squash, it’s a medley of seasonal produce. For something a little spicier, try the Firecracker Chicken - it never disappoints.

Rossopomodoro

This autumn, combine English root vegetables with the warming flavours of Italy. Street food favourites come into their own this season; with the Parmigiana (aubergine baked with smoked mozzarella and tomato sauce) standing out as a favourite.

Pizza Express

Nothing says ‘comfort food’ quite like a creamy risotto. Vegetarians will love the new Artichoke and Spinach Risotto, with its white wine sauce, garlic and pine kernels. Meat eaters are fully catered for, too. Try the new Barbacoa pizza; smoky, spicy and full of flavour, it’s topped with pulled Barbacoa beef, spicy chipotle salsa and fresh tomatoes.

Starbucks

It’s not autumn until the Pumpkin Spiced Latte returns to the Starbucks menu. This year, team it with a Cinnamon Swirl to get a little energy boost as you shop.

Yo! Sushi

In Japan, autumn is recognised as the season that gives us our healthiest appetite. They’ve even got a special phrase for the autumn appetite: the ‘shokuyoku no aki’. Once you’ve worked up yours, head over to Yo! Sushi to sample the delicious and warming Okonomiyaki, a street food dish from the historic city of Kyoto.
