Give a Christmas gift to charity at the O2 Centre’s Giving Tree

The Giving Tree offers a chance to donate a gift to a child in care
19th November to 24th December 2019
It’s the season of goodwill. Please donate your unwrapped Christmas gifts to our chosen children’s charities and make a child’s holiday season happier. Thank you.
We’ll pass your gifts on to Camden Foster Care and Barnardo's, who’ll be so grateful to receive your thoughtful gifts.
The O2 Centre has run its Christmas Giving Tree promotion for many years, helping to collect presents for deserving children.
You’ll find The Giving Tree at the main entrance of O2 Centre. Please come and pick up a name tag, buy an age-appropriate pressie for that child and drop it off in our collection box. Staff will be here to help, or feel free to come up to the Centre Management Office on Level 2 to donate your gifts.
This year, we’re aiming to collect 600 gifts – that’s 600 smiling children who’ll be receiving them on Christmas Day.
Having been involved in the initiative in previous years, Camden Foster Care have kindly shared how the gifts are used with quote from Councillor Angela Mason CBE, Camden Council’s Cabinet Member for Best Start in Life.
“The Giving Tree is a great initiative by the O2 centre, which captures the giving and supportive community here in Camden. Presents donated by shoppers are truly appreciated by our local children in care. Camden children are provided a safe and secure home by foster carers, which takes real energy and a warm heart, becoming a Camden foster carer can make a big difference to children's lives. We need to recruit more foster carers who can help bring a sense of family and belonging to vulnerable children and young people, so please contact our fostering team today or come to one of our monthly information evenings.”
